Ontario Consultation to Develop

A Long-term Affordable Housing Strategy

Alliance to End Homelessness

Recommendations   Oct. 2009

In addition, the Alliance to End Homelessness endorses The Housing Network of Ontario's Declaration which states: “We believe everyone in Ontario has the right to live poverty-free and with dignity in housing that is stable, adequate, equitably accessible and affordable.”

ATEH and other Ottawa groups have formed a local branch of the province-wide network. We are encouraging community participation in the consultation and working to ensure that the provincial government delivers the integrated and fully-funded affordable housing strategy our communities need.
